Riomaggiore 

Riomaggiore is the first of the five villages of the Cinque Terre and is located on the eastern coast. Characterized by colorful houses climbing up the cliffs, this charming seaside village is famous for its narrow streets and picturesque harbor. The Church of San Giovanni Battista, dating back to 1340, is one of the most iconic landmarks of the village. Riomaggiore is also the starting point of the famous "Blue Trail" (Sentiero Azzurro), which connects all the villages of the Cinque Terre along the coast.

Manarola is one of the most picturesque locations in the Cinque Terre, known for its pastel-colored houses that stand out against the blue sea. Corniglia is the only one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre that does not directly face the sea, but is located on a hill, about 100 meters above sea level. To reach it, you must climb a long staircase, but the effort is rewarded with spectacular views and a more intimate, less touristy atmosphere compared to the other villages. Corniglia is famous for its terraced vineyards and its historic center, with the Church of San Pietro and the cobblestone streets.

Vernazza is often considered the most picturesque village of the Cinque Terre, thanks to its natural harbor and colorful houses overlooking the sea. The village is dominated by the Doria Castle Tower, which offers breathtaking views of the coast. Vernazza has a lively yet authentic atmosphere, with typical restaurants and local shops selling handcrafted goods. The Church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia, located along the sea, is one of the historical landmarks of the village.

Monterosso is the largest and westernmost of the five villages of the Cinque Terre. Known for its wide beaches, Monterosso is the perfect place for those seeking relaxation in the sun. The village is divided into two parts: the historic area, with its characteristic streets, and the modern area, which directly overlooks the beach. Don't miss the monument to San Francesco and the Church of San Giovanni Battista. Monterosso is also an ideal starting point for excursions and exploring the trails that connect the coast.
